As someone with super long locks (aka my lioness mane), keeping a cute head of hair while staying cool in the humid NYC summer can surely be a challenge. Enter the Milk Maid Braid - a super cute, super easy bohemian updo seen on the likes of superstar boho goddesses: Mary Kate Olsen, Sienna Miller and Nicole Richie. After scouring the internet for the perfect milkmaid tutorial video (and might I say, getting lost on many a tangent as scouring the internet so often does), I discovered a straight forward, easy to follow, how to video demonstrating the perfect milk maid braid. Please note: this can also be done sans curling iron, sans crochet needle, and sans washing your hair for 4(+?) days.
