Summer 2015 Internship
Description of Job: We are looking for an intern who is passionate about boho fashion and all things digital media. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, highly organized, detail oriented, can multi-task and is an innovative thinker with strong attention to detail. You must be able to earn school credit to be eligible for participation and be available to work at least 3 days a week. This is an unpaid internship and is based in Brooklyn, NY.
Duties include:
- Creating content for Nomad’s social media and blog
- Assistance with writing copy for website
- Assistance with e-newsletter campaigns
- Assistance with photoshoots
- Assistance with development of fall campus ambassador campaign
- Creating promotional content for summer events
- Helping with day-to-day Nomad operations
- Sales assistance on truck during large summer events/festivals
Requirements:
- Must have a love of boho fashion/lifestyle and exude a fashion-forward image
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must have professional email and phone etiquette
- Must have a laptop
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must be able to receive college credit
- Experience with Photoshop, InDesign and HTML is a plus
- Must be well written (please provide 2 writing samples)
